Dunedin/Southland Veterans' Forum
Dunedin/Southland Veterans' Forum
116 Portsmouth Drive
Dunedin
This free event is an opportunity for New Zealand veterans, their families and whānau to meet with staff from Veterans' Affairs to discuss entitlements and other support options.
It is being held at Edgar Centre, 116 Portsmouth Drive, Andersons Bay, Dunedin.
Who can come
It is free to attend for both you and your whānau.
Whether you are still serving or have left service, and even if you are feeling OK and don’t require support, come along and learn what is available for you and your family and whānau.
What to expect
The event will have a relaxed atmosphere where you can sit down, catch up with others, and learn about support services from Veterans' Affairs and other support organisations.
Tea, coffee and refreshments will be available throughout the day.
Meet with Veterans’ Affairs staff
At this forum, you can speak with staff from Veterans’ Affairs. Look out for staff wearing red lanyards or head to the Veterans’ Affairs table. They can answer your application and entitlement questions and let you know what Veterans’ Affairs can offer.
We will have case managers available to speak to. You can make an appointment to see one on the day.
Veteran support organisations you can meet
Along with staff from Veterans' Affairs, you will have the opportunity to meet with other organisations that might be able to support you, including:
- The Royal New Zealand Returned and Services Association
- Ranfurly Veterans’ Trust
- NZDF Force Financial Hub.
We will update this list as more organisations confirm their attendance.
