Veterans' Affairs closure over Waitangi Weekend

Veterans’ Affairs will be closed on Monday 6 February for Waitangi Day.

Our enquiry line will be closed from 5pm on Friday 3 February, and will reopen at 8am on Tuesday 7 February.

If you are seeking advice on depression, anxiety or another mental health matter you can call the NZDF’s confidential helpline service. It is available 24 hours a day, every day of the year. It is 0800 NZDF4U (0800 693 348), and is staffed by trained health professionals.

For all non urgent medical advice please phone Healthline on 0800 611 116, contact your GP, or your local after hours medical centre.
